Vincent McDonnell

Vincent McDonnell joined CanArgo in November 2000 and has served the company in all major officer positions at various times since that date. He has also served as Acting General Director of the Corporation’s Georgian operating subsidiary CanArgo Georgia Ltd. Mr. Mc Donnell has been working in the international oil and gas industry since 1982, initially in a technical capacity but in later years in business, commercial and management roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) degree in Geology, a Master of Science degree in Geophysics together with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

He has worked in both the upstream and downstream oil and gas business in the North Sea, other areas of northwest Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the former Soviet Union (FSU) including Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Ukraine. He has worked for major oil companies including Mobil and Britoil, and has held senior management positions with western companies engaged in the oil and gas industry in the FSU since 1994.

Mr. McDonnell owns 200,000 shares and 1,560,000 options.

Jeffrey Wilkins

Jeffrey Wilkins has served as the Company's Chief Financial Officer since August 2006 prior to which he acted as the Company's Financial Controller from April 2001. Before joining CanArgo, he held various European finance positions for Fisher–Rosemount, part of Emerson Electric Company between 1995 and 1999 and from 1999 to 2000 he was European Financial Accountant for The Dialog Corporation, a business of the Thompson Corporation. Mr. Wilkins is a Chartered Management Accountant with a degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Bath.

Mr. Wilkins owns 60,000 shares and 780,000 options.

Michael Ayre

Mr. Ayre is currently Managing Director of Mees Pierson Reads, a trust management and financial advisory company. He was previously employed from 1983 to 1987 in the London office of Touche Ross & Co (now Deloitte & Touche) and the Guernsey office from 1981 to 1983 of Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG). Mr. Ayre is a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He was formerly a non-executive director of Woolwich Guernsey Limited and is currently a non-executive director of the Guernsey subsidiaries of Unigestion, a Swiss fund management group. Mr. Ayre is an independent Director in accordance with the requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission, the American Stock Exchange, and the Oslo Stock Exchange. Mr. Ayre is also Chairman of CanArgo's Audit Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee.

Mr. Ayre owns 90,000 shares and 505,000 options.

Russ Hammond

Mr. Hammond has served as an Independent Director of CanArgo Energy Corporation since June 1997 and he is a member of both the Company’s Audit and Compensation Committees. For over five years, he has been an investment advisor to Provincial Securities Ltd., a private investment company. Previously, Mr. Hammond was Managing Director of Greenwell–Montagu Securities, a British brokerage firm. He has been Non–Executive Chairman of Terrenex Acquisitions Corporation, an oil and gas joint venture company, since 1992 and a Non–Executive Director of Questerre Energy Inc., an oil and gas exploration and production company listed on the TSX, since 2000. He is currently also a Non–Executive Director of Tethys Petroleum Limited, an oil and gas company with interests in Kazakhstan, which listed on the TSX in July 2007. Mr. Hammond was educated at St. Catherine's College, Cambridge where he obtained a Bachelors' degree in Economics. He holds the Order of Honour for services to the Georgian hydrocarbon extraction industry.

Mr. Hammond owns 100,000 shares and 255,000 options.

Anthony Perry

Mr. Perry resident of the United Kingdom was elected an Independent Director and member of the Audit Committee of the Company on April 1, 2008. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Distinguished Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE); he is a Board Member and former Chairman of the London section of the SPE. Mr. Perry began his career as a Petroleum Engineer with Ultramar and a subsidiary of Gulf Oil Company in Venezuela. From 1970 to 1978 he worked for a subsidiary of British Petroleum in Abu Dhabi, ultimately as Chief Petroleum Engineer. During the period 1970 to 1983, he held the position of Manager of Petroleum Engineering at BP Petroleum Development (UK) Ltd which was a period of major expansion for BP in the North Sea. Later he went on to become Manager of Operations at Texas Eastern North Sea Inc. before taking up senior management positions at Mobil North Sea Limited as commercial co-ordinator, joint venture co-ordinator and secretary of the Mobil North Sea management council. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Perry was Chairman of Oilfield Production Consultants (OPC) Limited, a Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering Consultancy. Mr. Perry has a B.Sc. degree in Geology from Bristol University and a Diploma of Imperial College London in Petroleum Reservoir Engineering.
